Just now watching the opposition news station, FoxNews, where the news IS NOT "fair and balanced." Were it "fair and balanced," I'd think that FoxNews would feature female Republican analysts who aren't pretty blondes. But, night after night, show after show, we continue to see the pretty blonde daming Gore and praising Bush. I'm convinced this is Fox' bed to help Bush nail down the male vote.

Anyway, that's not why I'm writing. While I was watching the news both Bush and Gore were shown delivering their energy positions. Watching the snippets, I was struck by the following comparison. There was Bush talkin' bout energy, all bug-eyed in front of his teleprompters, reading word for word. Then Gore was shown giving a speech, speaking with vigor passion and from the head (no teleprompters).

My prevailing thought after observing this was: How come Bush, being an oil man and supposedly so knowledgeable about energy policy, was using the teleprompter. To me, an appropriate presidential candidate would have the knowledge and grasp of such issues already in his brain. Yet more proof that Ronald Reagan's son is correct: Bush is unfit to be president of the United States.
