SVGL Micrascan III is a good "Cadillac" quality system. If you are INTC or IBM and have the bucks to throw around, why not own it. One of my concerns with this system is its cost. It os one of the most expensive systems and I see it as a barrier to entry in the conservative/cost effective manufacturing arena. I am not sure about the LL prototype. I will have to investigate. I am surprised that the Scalpel (Lucent/ISI) was not mentioned. I may have inadvertently overlooked it. I do not know whether it is being dismissed or info was not available to IBM. Andrew
