Lars,

Not just 11% bonds--11%, 'A-rated' or better, TAX FREE bonds with 15-20 year maturities. In hindsight, how many people would salivate over the opportunity to own 11% tax free bonds in today's environment? That is equivalent to an 18% return in a taxable investment--I seriously doubt if you or I will ever again see tax-free rates that high in our lifetimes--buying them at those rates could easily, to paraphrase Mr. Brinker, be called a "gift horse." Its really sad that her husband had left her in such great shape--I remember telling her the only way he could've left her in better shape was if he left her a winning PowerBall ticket--and then this scheister extrordinaire comes in and completely destroys her. That's the sad thing--as long as there are schmucks like that out there parading around as fin'l planners and brokers, Brinker will never run out of material for the shark attack stories.

My client is a better person than I am--if someone financially ruined me like that, AND THEN I couldn't sue the Fin'l Planner because the FP declared bankruptcy, I'd be looking to seek retribution in other ways...

Gary
