Agreed. I remain a long-term bull. But short-term, I find it difficult to make a strong case for a big run here. Look at the Magilla Gorillas with problems (I've included chimps as well):
- INTC -- Warning. Long-term OK. Short-term, probably OK, but has done much worse here than I would have thought. Probably do for a technical bounce -- haven't a clue as to when.
- MSFT -- Tied up in litigation. Perceptions that the company is behind the curve. Great long-term prospects. Needs something to ignite it.
- AAPL -- Oversold. But then, it seemed oversold just yesterday.
- Dell -- Just keeps drifting lower. Needs to revise business model. Perception that all boxmakers are commodities, real or imagined perception, keeping it back.

We went up way to far at the beginning of this year. We are in the process of taking these stocks down way too far. I won't short, but I'm less long than I was before. I'm picking and choosing here -- Mr. Softee is looking very interesting here. I'm not worried about where it will be at the end of the year -- I'm looking further out.

For us to reach 5000 by the end of the year, we need some outstanding news. I don't see it coming. Sorry dudes and dudettes, but that's what I see. Look for bounces -- we are due for one (WAY DUE). I'm keeping dry powder for bargains. I'm still mostly long, so if we rally I'm going to make out well. If we fall, I'm ready to make more money.
