Nobody is saying that people are selling ssti/sndk because of only the INTC preannoucement.

Competitors are building out supply in the ssti space. That is just good business-decision making for the competition -- manufacture products that are in demand. I recognize that I am not telling anybody anything they do not already know. But when this happens, at some point, supply overwhelms demand causing 1) lower average selling price, 2) lower gross profit margins, and 3) a decreasing stock price. Semis have always followed the same path -- regardless of product line. The key is to get out of the way before the stock price does an INTC.

The problem is nobody shakes a bell saying a stock is about to preannounce pricing pressures or demand/supply issues.

Are you positive that the buildout in supply won't overwhelm the demand -- this quarter, the next 12 months? If there is a negative supply/demand imbalance I don't want to hold the stock.
