I started a new portfolio. It's called "cheat".......
siliconinvestor.com
The start date, 7/15/97, was chosen based on this post......

I couldn't find a historical quote for Fountain Pharm. for that date, so I took the mean for the quarter's high and low from the def14A.
The portfolio is down 63% to date. If anyone is aware of any other stocks that should be added to the portfolio, focusing on the picks of Fisner and Willfore, please let me know.
Here's a cute post......

Peter - thanks for the backgrounder. I had noticed that Niman has had about 4000 posts since May of last year.
And, mostly on the same thread, 'Andrew H.' has had 6000+ posts since the beginning of this year (20 posts a day!!!). Any chance these two being the same person? I can't understand when either of these two, especially Henry Niman - who claims to be a professor - has time to work. How are they able to post messages throughout the day?
Anyway, I'm more interested in your opinion of Niman's view of Ligand. Are you able to separate the wheat from the BS? For instance, there was some recent discussion about Alzheimer's and estrogen - any thoughts? CW
and here's where Ron actively tried to pull me into the story......

If you read through the Univec and Fountain threads and you've been following the "Neuroscience" thread, you'll be able to start to piece it together. I have no concept of how many additional threads there are like these, how many additional personalities that Ron may have assumed, or if all of the personalities were vanquished when r. Peter and Courtney went. That is, for all I know, he's been posting at SI, under yet another alias, this entire time. I've just never bothered to look for these things. |
