Must be spin.... biz.yahoo.com Cisco grew faster than the DSL market and twice as fast as the leading competitor, which had growth rates of 46% and 42%, respectively. Looks like our sources are in conflict - funny that they cite the same research... Actually I suspect Alcatel is not as dominant in other DSL technologies as they are in ADSL. And since we're talking video (at Flynn's suggestion) then we know the market will migrate to VDSL, SHDSL, or something other than ADSL.... which translates into migration away from ALA's dominant market segment. Interesting theme to the story though.... doesn't look like CSCO has forgotten about the edge. I suspect Flynn's jawboning is just that.... hot air from another 35 hour work week Frenchman.
