(NewsTraders.com)-- Comverse Technology (CMVT) insider Lawrence Denenberg registered for sale 102,000 common shares of the designer and manufacturer of computer and telecommunications systems and software.
Denenberg planned to sell the shares, worth $9.4 million, on Sept. 26 through Fidelity Brokerage Services, according to a Form 144 filing released today by the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The insider, who listed himself simply as an "employee" of Comverse, came to the company when his former firm, InTouch, was acquired on Aug. 5, 1999.
Based in Woodbury, N.Y., Comverse has 164.6 million common shares outstanding.
Of note, a Form 144 only shows a filer's intent to sell the shares. Actual verification of the sales, if and when they occur, would be provided in a subsequent filing.
Recently, shares of Comverse were seen trading higher by $3.31 at $109.31.
