Need for broadband yes, we have. I go the office and I have a computer there. I don't need ADSL since our LAN is connected over leased lines.
For this computer, I am answering you just my dial up connected to a analog exchange (perhaps even a Soviet one I'm working in Prague now) will do nicely thank you.

Now think about all those people in the US. They spend their professional hours using a computer the same way I do. They have LANs.

Where is the need for broadband, broadband in the sense that ADSL has answer for?

Then we have to think harder to find this need: here is one Small Medium Enterprise (who do not have time, knowledge, staff or money to think about ADSL) they are jus trying to make money with their business. They just lease a line and go on about their business.

I would love to see: "need for broadband in a world that is becoming all the more digitized" very well defined so that I would sink my tooth on it.

Right now I am thinking my teeth into a bone. No meat.
