Price targets by some analysts are being lowered dramatically, e.g. JDSU to 130 by Lehman Bros. on 9/26; BVSN to 30 by USB Warburg on 9/26 (ABN AMRO gave 95 target for BVSN on 9/21). There are huge divergences of opinion on many stocks, such as MSFT with price target of 85 by Lehman Bros. on 9/14 and 140 by DLJ on 9/27. I sense more downward valuation adjustments on the horizon as earnings season will probably lower expectations. I, too, am anxious over YHOO's forward report. I'm a bit concerned that too many are confident about an automatic Bull run in the Fall. Remember the Y2K crash that didn't happen?

Here is a handy link that provides 12-month prices targets for all stocks being covered by analysts. Just type in the symbol.
