With Gilder's picks well known to the public and even you can find the list for 25 bucks on his "new" book, Telecosm. I don't know why people will need to spend 5000 dollars to attend a conference, well, maybe for 5000 dollars Gilder will tell you more his future picks. Who knows? Anyway, I see no value to subscribe to his newsletter because you can find it everywhere. Maybe Gilder group should consider have their IPO sometime in the future because his business model is just perfect. No risk, low cost, no liability, a large customer base, and a stable monthly revenue. IMO, Gildercosm is even better than Telecosm. LOL
