Hi Catcher: Good points. Thanks. 5000 will be a stretch. There is such a multitude of factors to consider.

I believe the tax selling has been early. I simply base that on my view that if I were a fund manager, I'd have already been taking the losses given the way some of these have pulled back in here. I would not have been waiting any longer. I'd want my money and have it ready to use elsewhere. There was already a bunch of cash on the sidelines so that just compounds the pressure. Where is it going to go and when? It will go into the healthier companies and sectors. When it does, watch them run is my view. I don't necessarily think that INTC, DELL and GTW will set the stage.

I think the Feds will go with a neutral bias, like I told Jim Willie last night. That should help. Then the elections, too. Don't think anything horribly bad will happen in that time frame.

I am not as concerned with some quality techs missing earnings as I am about their comments on forward guidance. I think there will be good earnings reports overall. However, I believe many of us are still scratching our heads on the supposed slow down and the effect on certain techs.

Now that the 4th quarter is here, it's time for the stretch run. I just don't see how the money bags folks will let the Naz end this way. I believe you will see upgrades, positive news, lots of good announcements going forward starting soon.

Thanks info. How's your Catcher Tech Fund doing?
