To tell you the truth, you are probably underestimating the defense costs. There is no integrity left in the Department of Defense, so it is hard to get an actual figure. That is the primary reason I left the service. The Goldwater-Nichols Act of 1986 has turned the high ranking military officers into politically correct brown nosers instead of warfighters. The military is being run by a bunch of incompetent political appointees. They don't know their heads from their asses. They have zero leadership skills and it is degrading the military morale terribly. Personally, I believe Clinton, Albright, Cohen, and GEN Clark should be tried for war crimes, for violating the sovereignty of Yugoslavia. knc
