Sudan: National Congress Calls For Increasing Petroleum Production Khartoum, September 30 (SUNA)- The National Congress(NC) has underlined the importance of pursuing steps for industrial development and the intensifying of industrial production, increasing oil production and providing of funding for agricultural sector. The final communiqué issued by the extraordinary meeting of the NC general conference Friday pointed out that a considerable portion of the oil revenues should be diverted for the betterment of living standards of the citizens, improving of basic services and the rehabilitation of the infrastructures.
