Thread,

I am in the process of ordering a new Dell. It comes with Microsoft's new 2000ME.
A friend of mine said the new program had conflicts with several programs such as Q Charts.
After several crashes, he deleted the 2000 program and installed Win 98. Says all's fine since then.
When I spoke to Dell and my DSL company, they both suggested the 2000 program is more stable and I should get it.
Now I'm totally confused.
Can anyone help me with this dilemma?
TIA,

Fred
