Long, I am not at war..I trade gold stocks long and short...I have one longterm hold, that is AEM 5000 shares at 5 7/8...If it goes under 5.00, I take my losses and move on....The only other long term stocks I have right now are WIRE,CSRE,OPHM....The rest is cash, where I day trade..Friday it was 5 round turn trades on AAPL....
If any of you follow John Murphy, he is one of the present day gurus of TA..A very humble and kind man...He has written several books that I have read, and you can find them at Barnes N Noble, etc...A year or so ago John Murphy stated, "I no longer chart the POG or the XAU, because gold is no longer a free market!"
I still have this misconception that the XAU can obey some basic TA rules...I have stated on prior posts that we see a double bottom in gold with a trading range of 50-55...However, if XAU gold moves under 50 and cannot hold above it by day two, it unfortunately gives us a potential downside of 5 points, and moves us into the 45-50 range... But again, as John Murphy has stated gold does not obey TA rules, because it is not a free market...
I am tired of individuals lashing out at posters who have every right to give their opinions..John P. and others know what these personal attacks are like...I will not tolerate such childish behavior...
I politely asked Rarebird a few months back to quit his correspondence with me, because of his personal attacking spirit..He said at that time, he would honor the request..But now the kid comes out of the woodwork and starts throwing snowballs again...He can throw them, but his future posts will be sent to the Silicon Webmaster....
There are several posters I respect on this thread, who can voice their opinions without attacking the person..Hutch is one...Very intelligent guy, who nails the issue not the person...
Take care and I very much enjoy your kind, down-to-earth overseeing of this thread...If you ask any of the posters on the TATRADER Gizzard thread, about my character, you will find that the response is overwhelming that the guy tries to answer every post, and give brief TA analysis on any stock that is submitted....
