Jeez, sounds like a total nightmare - but it sounds like you cut through the nonsense. I've got DSL from another provider, but I currently have SDSL/small business, which I don't need - 5 IP addresses. I like the idea of having the efolks pay for it, but I can't afford to get hung up in a transition, especially with email. My Bell Atlantic install was done last February. The Power E*Trade faqs say to apply online for DSL - but there's no link that I can find to do so. Sounds like the phone is gonna be it. The name and extension of the guy who did the trick for you would be very valuable information indeed. . . I'll probably move the service over - if I start now, it'll probably be running by the time my current contract is up. Regards, Jon
