I believe I asked the question why not do it now, and your reply was more or less "because of the costs to change design". If costs are a deterrant to change, then their IP IS SIGNIFICANT, regardless of how IMPORTANT you FEEL it is! Also the Industry spent 6 years trying to get around RMBS IP and came up with a solid losing effort on DDR. So even with years of trying, they are behind the 8 ball with greater royalties going to DDR. That in a nutshell says their IP IS SIGNIFICANT.
