We are a week away from Kipur we have a civil war in Israel on hand. As strange it may sound, Israel armed the Palestinian police and the same police is firing on Israelis! The loss of life is indeed regretful. I think both Israelis and Palestinians have to thank President Clinton for his useless efforts to solve this problem. If this problem was easily solvable, maybe smarter leaders before him would have done that? Or maybe the world had to wait for Mr.Clinton to make the miracle and bring Shalom to this troubled land?
He thinks by getting Arabs and Jews shake hand in front of the the WHite-House the peace is made? Oh, how ignorant one can be not too see that the good will is not sufficient!
Maybe the smart thing would be that Israel nullifies the Camp David Accord, and start all over again, giving land for peace, not land for civil unrest and killing Jews! Maybe the time has come to send the Army into the Palestinian pockets and disarm the Police and the rest of the Hamas terrorists? I used to look at General Sharon with a grain of salt, but I think man has a point! Arafat is a murderer, a terrorist and can't be trusted. There are lots of Palestinians that live within Israel who rather life within the Jewish State rather than under Araft!! Sharon believes there can't an armed Palestinian State in the heart of Israel, but there is room for an Autonomous and un-armed Palestine in the West Bank.
However, If Clinton is so hot about giving these people an State, maybe he should set apart a piece of Ozarks as "Palestinian Reservation" and bring them all there!
In regard to your post on Armenians, it is time for Turks to admit their crime and look to future in EC. The mass murdered 1.5 million Armenians and they forced into exile half a million Greeks from Agean coast and the port of the AK Deniz (black Sea!) If they didn't do it, who did, UFO?? (It doesn't justify Greeks for what they did to Turks in Cypress either!)
Admiting ones crime is a step on the right direction. |
