I disagree. It virtually seals in reelection, as he actually gives substance to his "uniter not divider" mantra. He and his people, while not generally bright, are bright enough to figure that one out. Yeah, the right wing Clinton-haters would rant and rave, but the body of the public would give him grudging credit for laying to rest this episode. It's all academic speculation, though, since Bush will not win ...
