Alaskan frontier(we all know who would benefit) . we don't believe your talking about big oil! Oil industry will go to all ends of the world to look for oil. Perhaps, it just might be cheaper if we find some in Alaska. I do remember millions and millions of dollars spent on dry holes by some of the majors the last time drilling was done in Alaska. Doesn't government (us) get money from the companies who will bid for rights to drill. I love the idea of cheaper oil , but don't drill in my neighborhood go to someone else's to get my oil to make me comfortable.

Didn't the state drop income tax , give money back to every citizen in the state, I believe they had money for just about every project in the state for many years from oil.
