If the CLEC's are completely denied reciprocal compensation, this is going to be devastating for the whole Internet sector, because internet access _WILL_ become more expensive for consumers. Higher access fees will likely stall growth and we all know how the market responds to those conditions.

If this ruling goes through I unfortunately think the selling will be quick and brutal , rather than slow and painful. Maybe we get the capitulation that Craemer has been wishing for?

The only group that stands to gain from this are the RBOC's/ILEC's since they will no longer have to make the payments.
If you are a short term trader, buying RBOCs and shorting CLEC/ISPs would be the way to go .
