It seems premature to say that "Small Pox is extinct". It may be accurate to say that there are no active cases. But THAT is a far cry from saying it is extinct. I support your suggestion 100%.

We should all be concerned that many diseases were the subject of bio-warfare research. No list is forthcoming, though. No public health statement from any side acknowledging the experiments. I know they inoculated me with something that made me sick for 3 days when I was in the Navy in 1976. I received an "unlimited bed-rest chit". Now anyone who was ever in the military KNOWS how uncommon those were. This was a Training Command. Now add that to the equation. Basically, recruits being offered the chance to have no duty (with no impact on their training) for an unlimited time in advance of vaccination. Uh-huh. God only knows what they gave me. They called it a Swine Flu vaccination but I hallucinated and was delirious almost immediately in the hours after getting it.
