William "PC's are a small part of IT spending". The Nasdaq had its worst September since the exchange was founded. Lets stop pretending that the market views the recent spate of warnings as purely company (Apple) or industry (PC)specific. Whether or not we are staring into the jaws of a meaningful slowdown in earnings growth in the economy as a whole is in question -- and how long such a slowdown will last if there is to be one is also in question. But perhaps it is time to stop playing dumb games about whether or not these things are in question -- any idiot can see that by now.
