Intel is cleaning AMD's clock in notebook computers because of the horrid power consumption of the AthWipey - 55 watts. Why is this not an issue for you - yet a server CPU - in which power consumption os a 2'nd or 3'rd order issue - seems to grab hold of your fascination. You should really focus on AMD's power consumption issues - and your January options - which are 100% under water. Paul
