Coby! That is really scary!!! What time did it happen? I see your post is just a couple of hours ago- but it sounds as if it happened in the early evening. On a Sunday. What day was the last one? That's pretty stupid of the thief-- he's going to get himself shot. Or shoot someone. OH dear.

I came downstairs this morning at 6 and realized the French doors to the sunroom were wide open. We used to feel very safe out here, never locking the doors and leaving the garage wide open when we ran errands, but as the community has grown, so has the crime rate and I no longer feel as safe. I notice our neighbors who just moved from Dallas (besides owning the pitbulls- which btw I have neither seen nor heard)keep all the spotlights on in the back all night long- I hate it. No one does that out here. We have no streetlights in the neighborhood, and we don't WANT any. It is COUNTRY. Our neighborhood association sent around a questionaire asking if we would pay more dues to hire landscapers to keep up the entrances, and did we want streetlights, and a bunch of other stuff. Dan, who usually leaves all questionaires to me (and I usually ignore them), immediately filled it out- NO NO NO NO NO-- and went out and hand-delivered it to the president.
He seems to have strong feelings about this.

Lock your doors- especially when you're home alone all day!
