Alex, thanks. <<The analysts name only four survivors: AngloGold Ltd., Barrick Gold Corp., Newmont Mining Corp. and Placer Dome Inc.>> That suggests to me that other than investing for the very long term in gold stocks, buying the takeover, or merger candidates (not the names listed) makes more short term sense?
