Lynn...Re Slew... I worry about hidden agendas from these( pardon my French..)...'So called' xpertz I will question anyone who plays with fire in My back yard These guys remind me of the Wonder kids who said nuclear fallout from the Atom Bomb tests was also harmless..... Stephen Hawkings...maybe the Brightest Bulb out there sees the next 1000 yrs as the finale' for Most if not All species here on Earth...Man the Wise included...... The main culprit......that Oh so invisible gas CO2.. coupled with a human population that is adding a BILLION like minded souls every 9.5-11 years.....we are a culture whose success is carbon fuel based...the lowly ..seldom used toaster emits 8+ lbs of CO2 annually.......computers=50+ lbs/annually...cars..1400+lbs we are talking about a Gas here...not a liquid...or a solid.. Our atmosphere of 'Wise Use' is barely 6 miles thick...the sky is not the limit....... Antartica...Greenland...The Tibetan Plateau...ect...are melting down at extreme rates..... We evolved a set of behaviors that allowed for a free wheeling lifestyle because there were so Very Few of us here.. We are 6 Billion strong and counting today......every second of time adds 3.4 people to an already crowded Planet... Tim
