I am an independent analyst who follows this stock and yes I was on the conference call (I even listened to the recorded version). The one thing that people seem to be misconstruing is that "Par PROMISED a response within 30 days." Personally, I didn't hear Par Promise anything. What I heard is that it was his opinion that he would have some concrete details about the status of the NMS listing. At that time, I believe he felt that the 10K would have been filed on time, not 2 weeks later. (Therefore I believe it is only fair to give him a 2 week extension). I haven't spoken to Par since I met with him at Interop on 5/6 - 7, but at that time NMS listing was still pending approval. I will be talking to Par over the next week, but as of right now, they haven't been denied. If you look at the 10K and compare thier numbers to the requirements for NMS listing, you will see that they pass with flying colors. When I find out more, I will let you know.
In the mean time, I am just sitting here, almost hoping, it will come down a little more so I can load up even more. I spent another 6 hours last night trying to punch some holes in this story, but all I came up with was some additional distributors that now carry Osicom's product that I never knew about before, some postitive write-ups about their products, the explosive WDM market, and a few more stories about ABCN. In my opinion, the fundamentals are there staring everyone in the face. The only thing I can see that is causing this weekness is uncertainty about NMS.... and that really won't make a damn bit of difference 6 months down the road when their WDM, IQX-200 and ABCN products take off. |
