Dipy, there are also many "individual" investors who do call the company, who do follow the best analysts in the sector and who do have a clue with regards to the technology. When a stock gets the kind of treatment AAPL got Friday for the type of miss reported, someone is responsible. It's not the individual investor in this case. The miss was minimal on the rev's side, quite large on the actual earnings side but most of all, the release lacked guidance. The miss also was contributed to slow September sales. Is that why all those exec's sold in August???? Heck, if they have that much insight, they need to send them to jail right now. Sabre!
