Darrell - I think what John is saying is that you believe DELL management when they say those things, but the street does not. The last quarter's statement and CC set them up for this by blurring the distinction between operating and other income, by mixing the server, storage and workstation business into one bucket, and by the somewhat lame CC at which MSD did not participate. The reasoning behind the big price cuts last week is also not well understood and probably contributes to uncertainty. It will all come down to delivering the earnings. In the mean time I may just have to ride those Nov calls and bet on the come. Given the performance over the last few days, I doubt if there will be a big bounce back before then.
