The proportion of internet users who are libertarian with a small "l" and/or Libertarian with a big "L" (members of the Libertarian party) is much higher than that of the rest of the population. I've often wondered why - demographics, maybe, higher percentage of educated, affluent, young, white males? But I don't really think that's the complete explanation because there are more libertarian/Libertarian women, too. Something about the Internet and libertarianism goes together.
