Irina, I recall in 1996 hearing about the ZITL split, and wondering the same things as you were about the IMCL split. I posted a similar question on a thread and the only answer I got was...if you don't know, you shouldn't be trading. Great, nobody ever knew what they know before they learned it.

Remember the no free money rule of thumb though. If it looks like free money, you're almost certainly missing something.
