OK, here's the deal on NTOP and why it is showing strength today IMO. After much digging and putting pieces of information together I gathered publicly, it is my considered opinion that NTOP will announce just before or during the earnings conference call on Thursday, major implementation of ATT's strategy to switch over regular long distance customers to NTOP's telephony services. As many know, ATT expects to save 10 Billion per year using NTOP. See:

It is my understanding that ATT has been installing NTOP gateways across their primary system since LAST MARCH. Switching their customers over to VOIP will save ATT billions and make NTOP hundreds of millions. I understand that a multitude of ATT customers have been successfully switched and don't even know it.

We are also expecting an ATT/Concert announcement for IDTC that could mean between 300-700 million dollars in new revenue per year, increased margins etc. See:

This will increase IDT's revenues by something like 50% because they do about a billion per year now and make them very profitable. So that, WOULD be stock moving news and I expect that announcement too by earnings for IDTC if not before.

However, the ATT news will have a far more positive impact, in fact, likely a spectacular impact on NTOP's stock price. That is because NTOP's income is only about 100M per year right now. Imagine if they only announce 2 or 3 hundred million in additional revenue in the coming year for the ATT deal. That would triple or quadruple their current revenue stream and totally blow away ANY analysts most optimistic projections. In that I believe that the ATT implementation will likely provide much more income than this, I suggest NTOP's rise on this news could be shocking.

Please do your own due diligence on this but this is my opinion. In addition NTOP recently was quoted by the Dow Jones as saying "they would be profitable much sooner than expected." Now you know why.
