Thanks. Ctrl+N produced a very clean interface, without that clunky toolbar & the menu bar. Tho' the mother-ship has to be docked on the taskbar which is a bit schitzy.

I think it is a little faster. So the main objection is dealing with Favorites. I'm going to send them some feedback. The Favorites on IE5.5 are no picnic. They slither & slide from under the cursor when you try to arrange them. but this is even more frustrating & rigid!
