Paul, I missed this the first time I read the article: In August, Intel recalled the 1.13-GHz Pentium III processor. Two PC makers said they expect to begin selling systems with a revised version of the chip by about the third week of October.

Guess my reading ability is being impaired by the red ink I'm seeing everywhere. Anyway, good chance to see if the new Intel policy of "don't ship it until it's ready" (I can hear the 'droids snickering already) will be for real. No wine (chip) before its time, I like that.
