At the end of October 1990 XRX was at around $4.80/shr (split adjusted). It seems the stock is moving very quickly toward that number again. This company will survive regardless of how bad things may look.

Definitely it is not yet the time to buy the stock (not at least things are a bit more clear). But all long share holders should not panic. I have no stake in the stock but I am definitely going to buy when (and of course if) the stock drops below $7/shr which is equivallent to the Company having a market cap of around $4 billion. At 4 billion dollar valuation Xerox is literally being given away for free. I believe this stock will see that level as we get closer to the end of the year tax write off selling.

As the price drops we will of course hear the usual iditoic buyout rumors, and of course the idiotic law suits generated by the voltures calling themselves security lawyers claiming to do good deeds on behalf of the share holders (which is truly laughable), etc. But the fact remains Xerox will not be up for sale, and no one will be willing to pay the premium price of $35-$45/shr+ price - not for now anyway - it deserves to have purely based on its brand name recognition, and technology, and all the idiotic law suits will be nothing but pure empty noise.

Please note all is my humble opinion and I have proven to be wrong many times in the past.

Regards,
