Teresa,

Thanks for a very interesting thread, and for introducing yourself here so that I would know you exist. I look forward to studying your website information in depth.

I have some experience charting with Edwards and Magee, having read their 1st edition way back when, and more recently there 7th edition from cover to cover. I have also read a few other books, including some of Prechter's books. Consequently, I have a little knowledge, but I have not found many of the formations very predictable. I have been successful, however, with following trend channels. Given this as my background, here are five questions to which I would appreciate responses.

1. To what extent has the advent of before and after market trading sessions affected the usefulness of TA charting exercises?

2. What relatively simple technical indicators, such as volume, RSI, Williams %R, and MACD, among others, are the most useful?

3. What is your opinion of Fib ratios and Elwave analyses techniques?

4. Given that the QQQ is an index of 100 stocks, does it act more like a future or a stock, and what are some good sources of technical information about the NDX.

5. Finally, I noticed that you prefer 65-min bars over 60-min bars, which I think is an excellent move. I currently use Bigcharts.com, but it has certain limitations. What charting sites do your recommend, especially for real-time charts?

Thanks in advance for your responses.
