This definitely goes in FUD category ...

Any change in technology takes time. CMOS / TER /COHU /Advantest/LTXX / HWP / A/ SLB / TEK etc. if combined and say they had 10B revenue. So will they change? Such things happen by united efforts (such as semtech etc)
CMOS is buying back shares, they have paid off the long term debt and is poised for growth due to RF market growth.

In last down cycle they already advanced to next generation of technology. Did Intel move to Cu yet? Did 300mm happen? I bet these analysts have to churn news to earn and not identify good companies to buy and hold. I for one am hell p*ssed off at Abby, Barny, Pru Rock and now Apple (I don't even use it and most don't either) and these folks make and break every tech company.

Talk of techno ignorant, NBR said ASM is buying SVGI in a small flash. But FleetBoston buying another got most time. Technology rated by these folks who write news articles and spread FUD is worth no time of mine. In tech inventment community the importance of SVGI + ASML is very high. I give SI best marks for its value.
