I have been reading with amusement and some disgust at the blatant manipulation, half-truths, prevarications and outright falsehoods perpetuated on this thread and on the moderated porch...
Today was no different...as soon as things deviated from the Pontiff's vision, the excuses, the modifications, the defensiveness, the rationalizations and nit picking started...look at the flak and unfriendly remarks jmac received for the most benign of remarks about the Pontiff's holdings and strategies...
The Pontiff doesn't even have the intestinal fortitude to admit he may have erred (must be the Infallibilty thing)...I particuarly like the latest mantra, (live and die with INTC just like the Houses)...well, I am not particularly concerned that the Houses will fall if INTC doesn't recover but I do feel sorry for those individuals that followed this course of action...(I know he said it was a GAMBLE, that's the "cover your ass" posting)...
Never underestimate the human need "to belong"....there is always more security in a group...
What is the Pontiff's true motive(s)? Who knows...I do however, get a kick out of the old postings of how many people were helped by his CC strategies...LOL...reminds of the old Ken Roberts mailing I used to get...
Eventually, people will catch on...it may take a few large losses..some won't care...they just like the company, in cyberspace...
