<Why the heck can't Verizon slip a G* promotional brochure into their 23M subscriber monthly statements?? Guess the elephants can't get off their cans.>

If Verizon, which is part of Vodafone, copy Vodafone Australia who sell a GSM service with Globalstar, they would write on the promotional brochure that CDMA stands for Can't Dial Me Anywhere, which is what Vodafone people in Australia say to people entering their shops to buy.

Chris Gent should fone his Vodafone Australia employees and tell them to stop defaming competitors and see if they can come up with a marketing strategy for Globalstar better than hiding the phone out the back of the shop.

I have heard from two people that that's what they do in Brisbane and Darwin. I haven't heard from anyone that they have them upfront and centre and trying to sell them.

I hope the Vodafone people who say Can't Dial Me Anywhere are chewed in the jaws of sea-going crocodiles after failing to get help on a GSM phone and being knocked out of their boat and partly eaten by a White Pointer shark. May hagfish feed on their corpses if some of them make it to the bottom of the ocean. May sea snakes bite them as they sink and I hope they land on a Stone Fish when they hit the bottom.

PS: I have no idea why Verizon doesn't put Globalstar fliers in their mail. I suppose it is the usual corporate uselessness which is amazingly common. Maybe their mail is already full of stupid airpoints offers or draws for Harley Davidsons. I suspect their promotion of Harley Davidson sold a few Harley Davidsons. I have no idea why Globalstar wants to promote a motorcycle instead of the Globalstar phones.
