Many PC desktop users, both consumer and corporate, will NOT switch, because they are stuck with their WIN32 apps. But new desktop users may well opt for OS X because it will be vastly superior to Win ME, and decidedly better than Win 2K. But don't underestimate Apple Management's capacity for shooting itself in the foot.
