DoU, Actually, if you use Microsoft's new DataCenter, you can linc 2 press releases about two separate articles about one GHz processors to make one article about one 2GHz processor. I think Datacenter version of W2K can theoretically work with up to 8 1 GHz Piii CPUs. The reason I say theoretically is that it may be tough to find 8 Piiis that work at 1 GHz. Another problem is that the 1 GHz Piii may not work in SMP environment. I forget now which steppings do work in SMP and which ones don't. Joe
