ps: You want to know the level of totally clownish optimism on SI. A month ago I would guess that half the posters thought we would get to 5000 again before the end of the year. Now it is probably down to 40%. (Will go right back to 50% if we rally for a week or two. -gg)

The shocking thing is that as many times as they have been wrong in the last 7 months, they do not change their opinion or strategy.

As long as there are stories like EXTR, RMBS, or whatever other POS that can go up 10% in a day, these clowns will look to be long. It's ridiculous and they will get hurt.
