Tee-Hee:

When HP found themselves losing big to Sun, they reacted by changing their company car policies. IBM is now finding themselves in the same position, and is reacting by assigning letters of the alphabet to their machines.

That'll work --- NOT!

I think it'll take more than $75 million in advertising to get IT folks to understand why calling something a "P" makes it better than an RS/6000, or more closely related to an "I" (formerly AS/400). And will zOS run JCL? Unix scripts? Windows code?

I do like that they'll be able to handle 10 transactions/second for every person on earth, though. I'd like more details on whichever model will do that.

JMHO.
