Global TeleMedia International Proclaims Its 'Hi'-Time VoIP Launch a Resounding Success

GTMI Subsidiary BentleyTel.com Has Successfully Launched its 'Hi' Time PC - PC, PC - Phone and Phone - Phone VoIP National Network

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Oct. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Global TeleMedia International (OTC Bulletin Board: GTMI) announced that its BentleyTel.com Australian national VoIP network launch named "Hi"-Time, octa4.net.au was a complete success.

BentleyTel (Aust) President, Felino Molina said, "BentleyTel is proud to announce that the National Roll-out & Beta Testing of our VoIP network has now been successfully completed right on target. This has been a direct result of extraordinary teamwork and the strength of our strategic partnerships including Ericsson Australia (Nasdaq: ERICY). As we are the only provider of Wholesale VoIP services of this type in Australia, our focus now is to fully implement the wholesale sales strategies in order to ensure that we aggressively capture significant market share. We will also be working very closely with ISP Affiliates who utilize our wholesale products to ensure that they maximize their sales, thereby generating traffic across our network and ensuring we break all sales records. Additionally, we are looking to market new services such as call capping, (fixed fee no-time limit calls), lower cost local calls, (currently local calls @ 25 cents generate almost $11 billion in revenues in Australia) and to expand our service provision to regional Australia and outbound international calls."

BentleyTel Chief Engineer, Rob Merkwitza said, "With the completion of the final Beta test over the weekend we have marked the National VoIP roll out a complete success. Both PC - Phone and Phone to Phone calls were placed around the country (city to city) with excellent performance. An average of 13Kbps per call was utilized over our VoIP network instead of the standard 64Kbps, proving that our bandwidth capacity, which is expandable, is sufficient to service the ITSP market. With some upgrades to our electronic accounting system we are now taking on line registrations over the Internet for our "Hi"-Time products. The PhoneDoubler(TM) product was also tested on our network enabling customers to make and receive calls while on-line through a single phone line. It's products like this that make us stand out from conventional phone companies and will draw small businesses and customers to BentleyTel."

Senior VP Marketing and Sales for Australasia, Toni-Marie Geddes said, "The BentleyTel.com (Aust) launch of retail IP telephony services, utilizing the ITSP Solution Joint Promotional Program, branded 'Hi' Time, has made quite an impact in the marketplace. The implementation of a comprehensive, integrated advertising campaign that will run for a period of 3 months will utilize radio, TV, print and direct mail. Initial response has been very positive, even at this early stage, evidenced by high traffic to the site and significant numbers of consumers signing up to trial the services. The launch of the 'Hi'-Time product is extremely critical, its success will truly become the flagship for the wholesale product Australia wide. In light of early feedback, and the quick positive response to our consumer market retail advertising campaign, I am feeling very confident that we will exceed our revenue forecasts for this year."

GTMI President Jonathon Bentley-Stevens said, "We will not be drawn to make revenue projections but our shareholders should understand the significance of owning shares in a cutting edge ITSP/VPN and ISP national network. VoIP is a revolutionary leap forward in telecommunications, similar to the jump from analog to digital. The network, unlike software, is here to stay, and will earn significant revenue for GTMI for many years to come. As VoIP proliferates across the world lower cost calling will generate an increase in the billions of minutes currently crossing the globe. GTMI and BentleyTel stand in the path of those billions of minutes and we will capture a significant share of that e-commerce and telecommunications revenue."
