Thanks. It's been a good run I have to admit, but every time I feel the ego rise too high I consult my collection of pride-shattering tales -- some are from the history of the market and others are more timeless, having been penned by the likes of Sophocles and that English dude.

As long as the SPX can avoid the low of July at 1413, there remains the possibility of a good advance. If it takes out that low, then imho, we increase our chances dramatically of taking the off-ramp to the apocalypse before the election. -ng

It is interesting and instructive for me to look at the difference between SPX and NDX(COMPX too) coming off the little top of the Sep 28 close. They are both down, but SPX is a much more restrained down. Notice that NDX violated previous lows while SPX did not come close. SPX wants very badly to turn here.

It is hard to consider that SPX might turn up with strength and leave NDX behind. This would be a scale of rotation we have not seen yet.

I want to make a case for NDX turning up soon. I really do. It just seems right. However, the voodoo machine is telling me that we are going to test 3340 today or at least very soon. If this does happen, then, much to my surprise, I think that NDX is on the road to hell very quickly (weeks) and I will not get my opportunity to initiate my nuclear short-strike.

wtfdik?

ps: In the end, I just want to be on the right side of the trade. Who cares about making calls.
