I grew up in a mining family in South Africa and have come to not like gold even though it paid for my education. In my mind, it has been a hell of a long time since gold gave anyone a good return on their stock investments, and then only for a brief time. Yes, people have made money in gold ... usually at the investors expense as far as I can tell.

There was something on the news this morning about Clinton having to approve the sale of gold by some international agency .... did not catch the details but you might want to check it out.
