i see the casino opens to a gap-up-the-world's-right-again today...they wheeled out Abby and assorted other gurus. we should get an excellent put buying opportunity on Friday then...unenjoyment rally. most illuminating little paragraph from Fleck's rap last night: Today, Franklin Electric (FELE) was smacked for 20 percent after it announced disappointing earnings. The company's CEO said, "While on a year-over-year basis, unit volume sales continue to grow worldwide, earnings performance will be substantially below last year." He then went on to list some of the problems, which he summed up as follows: "Lastly, despite media and government reports to the contrary, we are experiencing inflation in commodities, wages, benefits and energy costs." i vote for the FELE CEO to be declared "cynic of the day" and be handed over to the thought police for re-education.
