Robert - FFIV is still struggling. This is not a knock, because nobody has picked a worse stock than me this year (well, almost nobody), with TENF going from 20+ -> 5 in a few weeks, and I bought a lot. They were profitable and growing...until they weren't.

And I like FFIV, tho I think you are under rating their competition, which includes INKT and MERQ, too, in some areas.

But these are really examples why I don't bother talking about asset allocation. Each of us will find a risk level we like; and it is more based on our personalities than sense, and where we are in life. I am 133% in the market, for example, vs 15% for someone else who posted here recently. I am gonna be unemployed the next 6 months to focus on investing, and I don't have kids. Who wants to talk about this? I want to talk about the next great stock!

Because nomatter how you allocate your portfolio, the game is to pick winners AND buy and sell them at the right time.

I'll talk about a potential winner in my next post.

BTW, once I find out what is happening to FFIV, I will look at it much closer. It MUST be near the bottom.

All the best,
Tom
